Course 4: Analyzing and Reporting Survey Results

In this course, students will be able to practice importing survey data into a statistical analysis tool and determine which statistical test to use to analyze the data. Students will also be asked to identify and report the meaning of the common statistics from the analysis.

At the end of this course students will be able to do the following:

  • Specify the goal of the analysis (compare mean or means, regression, correlation, etc.)
  • Choose a data entry format
  • Import or paste data into the statistical tool
  • Summarize data results
  • Provide a brief written report describing the key segments of the analysis
  • Describe the meaning of the graphical displays
  • Compare the statistical analysis results of various statistical tools

Prerequisite: Completion of the following courses:
Course 1: The Fundamentals of Quantitative Survey Design
Course 2: The Fundamentals of Online Survey Design
Course 3: A Simplified Approach to Statistics and Data Analysis
